Pancakes
from scratch
 
 
 
 
 
Ingredients:
 
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tbsp. canola oil
 
Directions:
 
1. Use a large non-stick skillet or griddle. Lightly grease and whip cooking  
     surface with paper towel.  Preheat to medium temperature.
 
2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium  
     mixing bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
 
3. In a measuring cup, measure milk, eggs and oil, beat together.
 
4. Pour milk mixture into flour mixture and beat until smooth. Do not over
    mix.
 
5. Using the 1/4 measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the hot griddle.
    Brown on both sides and serve hot with butter and syrup.
