Loco Moco
Beef Patti
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
(Oatmeal or flour can also be used, whatever you have on hand.)
salt to taste
dash of pepper
1/4 round onion, minced ( optional )
1 egg to bind ingredients together, if to dry.
1. Combine the ground beef, flour, oatmeal or b.crumbs, salt, pepper, onion and egg in
a bowl.
2. Divide into equal portions according to the number of people
in your group. 4-6 people. Form into round balls.
3. Shape into flat patties, 4-6 inches in dia. Use waxed paper to shape and
transfer pattie to broiling pan.
4. Adjust rack in oven so that the broiler pan is about 4 inches from broiler.
Remember, broiling uses high heat to cook on one side of the food at a time.
Broiler is located right below the top of the oven.
5. Broil hamburgers about 5-7 minutes on first side or until they are brown and sizzling,
turn them over to cook other side, for another 5 minutes.
Preparation of eggs:
1. Prepare eggs sunny side up , over easy or scrambled.
2. Use a skillet over medium heat with alittle vegetable oil.

1. Assemble from bottom to top in this order.
