Broiled Burger Wrap (dry heat cooking)

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/4 cup minced, round onion ( optional )
Flour Tortilla, 10 inch size
1 egg

1. Combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, onion, and egg . Mix well.

2. Divide into equal portions according to the number of people
in your group. 4-6 people. Form into round balls.

3. Shape into flat patties, 4-6 inches in dia. Use waxed paper and bottom of salad plate
to press and shape patti . Transfer to broiling pan.

4. Adjust rack in oven so that the broiler pan is about 4 inches
    from broiler.

5. Broil hamburgers about 5-7 minutes on first side then turn them over
to cook other side, for another 5 minutes.

4. Place flour tortillas on a large dinner plate, between damp paper towels.
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minute to make them soft.

6.  Place patti in the upper center of tortilla wrap. Top with lettuce, tomato, mustard,
ketchup etc.. To close, fold bottom half over patti, then fold right and left side
over bottom flap. Using a tortilla wrap instead of a bun, makes for a low carb
     burger sandwich.
